A Motherhood Session with the Rogers Girls
This is one of those groups of gals where a client became a friend. Dana's girls are wild children, (Sam and my son have a lot in common when it comes to wild!) and they always make sure to keep things interesting and lively, but somehow things always turn out perfect. At least in my opinion. ;)
I am so happy with the way my Motherhood Studio sessions have come out this year. I'm sure I've written it somewhere before on the blog, but Motherhood Sessions are hands down one of my favorite things to do. I remodeled the Akron studio a tad this year and painted a dark accent wall, which I am kind of obsessing over. I think it helped these turn out perfect!
While I am more than happy to do them in lieu of a family session anytime during the year, in the spring I always hold a few special event days where Mom's can get in the frame with their little ones and get some updated portraits. Typically, I only offer this to my clients, but this year I opened them up to a few new clients as well.
I've known Dana for years now, her oldest daughter Sam I met for her newborn session years ago. I then photographed her sister for her newborn photos, and we've down many other sessions together as well over the years!
If you want to see Dana's maternity session we shot, you can see that HERE.
I am so happy to have these three ladies in my life! I love that our styles align so well and that Dana is totally up for taking my advice and doing whatever it takes to get the perfect image, which sometimes means, getting an imperfect image that is full of magic. Enjoy!
