It may not even be officially November yet, but holiday photos have already begun for me! My studio Christmas sessions will be held on November 9th and 18th. You can hit the button below to learn more about my studio sessions I am holding this year as well as book a spot below.

They will be super simple and classic. A large white bed, a few winter accents, a wreath with eucalyptus and red berry sticks. It will be cozy and relaxed and the perfect set up. The biggest question I ALWAYS get, of course, is what does one wear for their holiday photo session!?

So, a few things. First, anytime there is a bed involved in holiday photos, pajamas are totally optional! I prefer the look of kids in pajamas and parents in relaxed jeans and plain v neck t-shirts or sweaters, or comfortable clothing they would wear around the house that goes with the styling of the session. I also always suggest my families avoid matching and instead opt to coordinate. When children all have matching pajamas or attire, they can sometimes blend together a bit when it comes to photos. The kind of all looks like they have one body when you stick them together with a few different heads. Now, if you love the matching look, by all means, go for it! But that is just my suggestion, and I've been doing this awhile so, I swear I do know a thing or two. ;)

Whether you are having holiday sessions with me, or you are another photographer holding your own "white bed holiday minis" I am going to share a ton of great options and ideas for photos! And, the best part? They are ALL on Amazon! Who doesn't love free two-day shipping?! Yep, you can style your entire family for a holiday photo shoot right on AMAZON! Let me show you how!

Happy shopping && Happy Holidays!

FOR THE KIDS

Burts Bees has some of the cutest pajamas for kids, babies, and adults even! Adorable henleys in white, grey or red with buttons, solid colors, plaid and a few different pattern options. Here are a few examples and links to each, but there are tons of other colors and patterns you can see suggested via these links! Like I said, try and avoid matching, but you can definitely find things to coordinate here.

I dare you to show me something cuter than these Burts Bees plaid footy pajamas for babies. 3-24 months in size are available! Not only are these cute for photos but you will get some practical use out of these in winter too.

Beyond pajamas, there are outfit sets for boys, sweaters that can be paired with jeans or colored pants and plenty of adorable classic dresses for girls!

FOR THE ADULTS

Burts Bees pajamas, adult style! Now, this is about as far as I would go on the PJs for parents train, and I would really try and mix some of the patterns and colors if possible. Parents in PJs definitely won't be for everyone, but for those of you who want to go this route, I think this is a very sweet, casual way to do so!

For women who still want to be comfortable and casual, but don't want to wear pajamas I have the perfect solution! A maxi or midi dress that is plain and casual and can easily be used for both holiday photos and throughout the year for other things! Oh, and they are both under $20 for those on a budget! pair with a necklace or a fun scarf to complete the look.

If you want to skip the dress and the pj's Mom, you can opt for a slouchy thermal top, swing shirt with lace or a cozy sweater. Pair with jeans and a nice scarf and you will be camera ready.

A pullover sweater for Dad, perfect easy solution for holiday attire! Pair with jeans and call it a day.

If Dad isn't the sweater type, throw him in a v neck t shirt, tell him to grab his favorite pair of jeans and focus on dressing the rest of the family. Guys have it so easy!

I mentioned that accessories were totally the way to go with a simple solid dress or sweater right? Ladies, Amazon has amazing options for scarfs!
